How to add a token to your wallet

Bridge Wallet is a non-custodial wallet that lists by default the most common assets on each blockchain supported by the app. However, you can manually add any token you want to your wallet on the Arbitrum, Avalanche, BNB Chain, Ethereum, Fantom, Optimism, Polygon and Gnosis networks. This guide shows you how to do so.

1: Download Bridge Wallet

If not done yet, download Bridge Wallet, install it on your phone and then launch it.

2: Choose a network

Switch to the network on which you want to add an asset via the icon on the top left of the screen. With Bridge Wallet, you can add assets on Arbitrum, Avalanche, BNB Chain, Ethereum, Fantom, Optimism, Polygon and Gnosis.

3: Click on "Add an asset" or "Add a currency"

Click on "Add an asset" in the Assets tab or "Add a currency" in the Currencies tab. You are free to choose in which tab you want to add a token.

4: Find the token's contract address

You will need to find the contract address of the token that you want to add. To do so, go on the block explorer of the chosen network:

In this example, we find Uniswap's UNI token contract address on etherscan.io.

Always double check that you are on the correct token page and not on a fake one by ensuring that the contract address is the same as the one shown on the token issuer's website.

5: Add the contract address

Paste or scan the contract address, then click the "Add asset" button.

6: That's it!

You will now see the token appear in your wallet with your current balance. You can now use Bridge Wallet to send, receive and exchange that token from your phone.

You can remove tokens that you have manually added at any time.
