1. Bridge Wallet

Bridge Wallet is a non-custodial wallet, meaning that only you have control over it. That control is exerted through your secret phrase. If someone else gets your secret phrase, that person will be able to control your wallet and you will lose your funds with no way to recover them. Therefore, it is crucial to carefully respect the following safety practices:

  • Never share your secret phrase with anyone.
  • Never enter your secret phrase on a website or in a form.
  • Back up your secret phrase properly, read this blog post for more information.
  • Never connect your wallet to an untrusted website.
  • Always verify that the URL of the website is correct before connecting through WalletConnect.
  • Never connect your wallet to a link that someone sent you in private message.
  • If someone contacts you in private message on social media about your wallet, it is a scam. Block and report those persons.
  • Don't trust, verify.

You can send to Bridge Wallet cryptocurrencies and tokens from any other wallet, service or exchange platform that allows you to withdraw funds to an external wallet address.

Here's how to receive crypto with Bridge Wallet:

  1. Make sure that the crypto you want to send is on a network supported by Bridge Wallet (see "Supported blockchain networks" below).
  2. In Bridge Wallet, choose the network on which you want to send funds via the icon on the top left of the app.
  3. Go in the "Addresses" tab.
  4. Send funds to the address displayed in "My wallet address".
  5. If what you've sent isn't listed by default in the app, you will need to manually add it in order to see it. See "how to add a token".

Please note that once your crypto will be on Bridge Wallet, you will need to be able to cover network costs if you want to withdraw them on your bank account, swap them or send them to another address.

You can send cryptocurrencies and tokens from your Bridge Wallet to any other wallet, service or exchange platform without limits or restrictions.

Here's how to send crypto with Bridge Wallet:

  1. Select the crypto that you want to send in the app. It must have a positive balance, of course.
  2. You must have enough of the required crypto to pay for the transaction cost and send it. More info in "What are network costs?" below.
  3. Click on the "Send" button.
  4. Enter the address of the destination wallet. Make sure that the recipient is able to receive funds on the same blockchain as you are sending funds from. Always double check that the address is correct, if you enter a wrong address funds will be lost.
  5. Enter the amount that you want to send. If you want to send your entire balance, use the "Send all" button instead of manually entering the amount.
  6. If you want to, you can manually change the gas and data parameters by clicking on "Advanced". If you are not sure about what you are doing, don't modify those values.
  7. Click "Send" and your crypto transfer will immediately be initiated. Please note that crypto transfers can take seconds, minutes or hours depending on which chains you are using.

Bridge Wallet currently supports the following networks:

Bridge Wallet is a non-custodial app, meaning that you are the only one able to access and control your wallet. Owning your wallet's secret phrase provides that access and control, and nobody else than you knows your secret phrase.

The purpose of Bridge Wallet's password is to encrypt and secure your secret phrase on your device, but none of them are stored elsewhere. Therefore, if you forget your password, there is no way to recover it. You will have to reset your app, then restore your wallet.

If you have forgotten your Bridge Wallet password, you are changing device or you are simply switching to another secret phrase, you will need to restore your wallet.

To do so, select "Access an existing wallet" after having created a new password. Choose the type of secret phrase that you would like to restore, then enter in order the words of your secret phrase.

If you already identified with us, to recover your profile simply go in Settings > My profile > Begin identification and choose the same authentication method that you have previously used to identify (Message signature or SMS code confirmation) and that's it! Your identification profile will automatically be retrieved.

When you change device, you simply need to download and install Bridge Wallet on your new device, then restore your wallet by selecting "Access an existing wallet" after having created a new password.

You will need your secret phrase to restore your wallet, so if not done yet (bad!) please make sure to back it up first from your old device by going in Settings > Backup secret phrase.

Once you have restored your wallet on your new device, make sure to clear your wallet from your old device! To do so, on your old device go in Settings > Clear data stored on device.

You can install Bridge Wallet on as many device as you want, and use your wallet on them. Your identification profile is either linked to your mobile phone number, either linked to your wallet address, therefore all you have to do to use Bridge Wallet on multiple devices is to use the same secret phrase and the same authentication method (message signature or SMS code) on each one of them.

If you want to, you can even use different secret phrases on different devices, while using the same mobile phone number in order to use the same profile.

It can happen that assets that you have manually added in Bridge Wallet don't show anymore. Don't worry, your funds haven't moved! To see them again, you simply need to re-add the tokens in question.

How to add a token >

  • The current WalletConnect version is v2. Some web dapps still use WalletConnect v1, which is not supported anymore and will result in an error message on your mobile wallet. In such case, you will need to use another web dapp.
  • Make sure that you have the latest version of your wallet app installed on your phone.
  • Make sure to have the same chain selected in both your mobile wallet and on the website that you're trying to connect to.
  • You must have enough funds in your wallet to pay for transactions fees, otherwise you won't be able to initiate a transaction via WalletConnect. More information about transaction fees here.
  • If the connection loads indefinitely, disconnect everything, refresh the web page (ctrl-F5 / ⌘-shift-R) and try connecting again. You may have to do that a few times until it works.
  • It's usually better to use web apps via WalletConnect while disabling ad blockers or similar browser plugins, which can cause interference. You can also open the web app in private/incognito navigation mode.
  • If the connection still doesn't work, try using a different web browser.
  • If the connection still doesn't work, try opening the web app from a desktop browser.
  • "Waiting for request" means your wallet is properly connected to the web app, and that it is waiting for you to take an action there.
  • You must stay on your mobile wallet's WalletConnect screen while using the web app. If you leave that screen, you will be disconnected.

If you scan the QR code of an address and get an "Invalid address" error message, you will need to manually paste the address instead of scanning the QR code. That error message appears when when the QR code you're scanning includes more data than the address itself.

To get rid of that error message, please do the following:

  1. Go in Settings > Login and security > Logout from Mt Pelerin services
  2. Go in Settings > My profile > Register
  3. Choose the same authentication mode as before ("Phone/SMS" or "Sign message") to reload your personal information
  4. Kill the app and launch it again

Error 429 is a temporary limitation triggered when you make too many requests to our servers from the same IP address. It disappears after a while, depending on how many requests you've made. To eliminate this error message, you can switch to a different IP address (on a mobile phone, switch from WiFi to 3G/4G/5G or vice versa).

This error indicates that the server is temporarily not ready to process your request. Please try your operation again later.

This error indicates that the server's response to your request took longer than expected. Please try your operation again later.

2. Identification

If you choose to verify your identity with us, here is what you will need to provide:

  • Personal and economical information
  • ID document
  • Proof of address
  • Selfie

Depending on your profile and transaction activity, you may also be requested to:

  • Answer by email some extra questions about the origin of your funds.
  • Have a short (~10min) recorded video call with a member of our compliance team.

For legal entities, the identification process will require:

  • That an administrator verifies his/her personal identification as described above.
  • An excerpt from the commercial register
  • Copies of the passport of any other legal director of the organization
  • Forms A and K (provided during the process)
  • A short (~10min) recorded video call with a member of our compliance team
  • To submit any specific information requested to document the origin of the entity's funds

Please note that your proof of address must be less than 3 months old.

The types of ID documents that we can accept are:

  • National ID cards
  • Passports

⚠️ Driving licences not accepted.

⚠️ We cannot accept expired ID documents, even if they are still valid in your country.

Please note that depending on your country, we might refuse a certain type of ID document and require a specific one due to regulatory constraints.

You can register with us as a legal entity and use our services with your organization's bank accounts. To do so:

  1. An administrator of the organization must click here and follow instructions to sign up and verify his/her identity.
  2. At the end of the KYC process, choose "Register as a business" and keep following instructions.
  3. Once your business registration will have been validated, you will be able to start using our service to buy or cash out crypto with your company's bank accounts, as well as pay fiat invoices (EUR/CHF) with crypto.

Before asking for a SMS verification code, make sure that you have the sufficient mobile phone network connection to receive it. Check as well that the phone number and country code are correct.

If you still don't receive the SMS code after several trials, please contact us.

Mt Pelerin processes all your identification data internally, nothing is outsourced to third party providers. We are allowed to do so under our Swiss financial intermediary status. This status means that we apply the Swiss KYC/AML directives, and that the way we apply them is audited several times a year by an independant organization affiliated to FINMA, the Swiss financial market supervisory authority.

When you use our service by bank transfer to our Swiss bank accounts, your data is protected by Swiss privacy. It means that we don't share your info with any third party, and that nobody can force us to do so with the exception of a court order in the context of a criminal investigation.

When using instant transfers or card payments, your data must be shared with our EU service providers and isn't protected by Swiss privacy anymore.

In Switzerland, the final validation of an identification must be performed by a human being and can therefore not be automated. We do our best to review and validate new identifications as fast as we can, but please note that it can take up to 2 business days.

You can see the status of your identification at any time by checking your profile in Settings > My profile.

The icon of each section tells you its status:

  • Circle check icon - Validated
  • Clock icon - In review
  • Circle x mark icon - Rejected (you will get an email explaining why and how to provide the right information)

If you need to update your information, your new residence address for instance, you can do so at any time in your user profile (Settings > My profile).

Bridge Wallet is a non-custodial app, therefore there is no account strictly speaking but only your identification information that we need to authorize crypto-fiat transactions. Being a regulated entity, we are required to keep that information for a period of 10 years. We cannot delete it on your request.

If you don't want to use Bridge Wallet anymore, you can simply uninstall the app. The wallet address created with the app entirely belongs to you, so you are free to do what you want with it. Please note that we have no way to help you recover it if you lose your secret phrase.

In order to give you a way to verify the authenticity of the various emails that we send you when you use our service, they all have a signature.asc file in attachment.

You will find below the PGP public keys that we used to sign emails sent from [email protected] and [email protected]. Import them into your PGP/GPG enabled email client to verify the authenticity of signed email from the site.

3. MPS tokens

Yes, it is a security token or simply said it is a share of the company Mt Pelerin Group SA. To be more specific, it is an asset token as defined in the guidelines published by FINMA, the Swiss financial market supervisory authority.

If you have bought MPS tokens, you need to register them with the company in order to activate your voting and dividend rights associated with their ownership.

To register MPS tokens, you need to identify with us and have MPS tokens stored on one of your linked addresses.

Please note that we cannot accept shareholder registrations from persons from: Afghanistan, Belarus, Burundi, Central African Republic, Cuba, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, Mali, Myanmar, Nicaragua, North Korea, Somalia, Sudan, South Sudan, Syria, Venezuela, Yemen, Zimbabwe.

No, if you are not interested in the MPS token's voting and dividend rights you don't need to register them. Identification is not required to enjoy the service benefits provided by MPS tokens.

No, you can store MPS tokens on any wallet you want, then link its address in your user profile.

No, the MPS token is not divisible. Therefore, 1 MPS is the smallest possible unit of ownership in Mt Pelerin Group SA.

If your MPS tokens have been lost or stolen, contact us immediately.

The MPS token is the actual share of Mt Pelerin Group SA. Therefore, you should declare and report it in your tax return the same way as you would for the ownership of the shares of any other non-public company.

If you have any questions regarding this process, please contact your local tax administration.

Under Swiss law, any dividend must be proposed by the board of directors of Mt Pelerin Group SA and approved by a general meeting of the shareholders.

Any proposal by the board of directors to distribute a dividend, if any, will depend on different parameters notably the company's results of operations, financial condition, cash requirements and other relevant legal considerations (sufficient reserves).

Only the 500,000 MPS tokens sold in 2018 are freely transferable. The 95% remaining MPS tokens belong to our holding company, team and advisors. They are all locked and bound by shareholder agreements.

The main purpose of those 95% tokens is to conduct our second round of funding (not public). In this way, we commit to protect our crowd investors by raising funds through the holding company selling its own shares, not through the dilution of the circulating 500,000 MPS tokens.

4. Buying crypto

We deliver your crypto on your wallet shortly after we receive your payment (see "Bank transfer times" below to see how long it takes for us to receive a bank transfer from you).

We do so as fast as possible on a best effort basis and it usually takes from a few minutes to a few hours, depending on various factors (liquidity, network congestion, etc.).

Deliveries are processed automatically most of the time, but can be held for manual review by our compliance team. In such cases, manual reviews are done during office hours from Monday to Friday.

When buying crypto by card, we will receive your payment instantly but it doesn't guarantee that we will deliver your crypto instantly. We do so on a best effort basis, but it is not always be possible for various compliance or liquidity reasons. Please note that:

  1. Crypto bought by card usually take a few minutes to appear in your wallet. In some cases, it can take up to several hours in case of network congestion.
  2. If you make several card purchases in a row, you may be flagged by our system for manual processing and your transaction will therefore take longer to be delivered.

If you use our service without being identified, your purchases will be withheld for 7 days and will be automatically delivered on your wallet after that. The exchange rate is still applied when we receive your bank transfer, so you don't have any exchange rate risk.

This measure is in place to curb various abuses of our service. There is no withholding period for identified users.

The table below shows the time it usually takes for us to receive your bank transfer, depending on its type:

The exchange calculator on our web interface and in Bridge Wallet both show you the exchange rate that you would get right now, for your reference.
